“Let’s make a decision this week” – a letter from Dullas to the President

Member of Parliament Dullas Alahapperuma has written to the President that a decision should be made within this week to provide relief to the government and semi-government employees who submitted nominations for the local government election.

There are more than 3000 government and semi-government employees who are on unpaid leave due to the submission of nominations.

In his letter, the MP has emphasized to take steps to provide relief considering the difficulty faced by them by losing their basic salary for many months while paying loan installments to various financial institutions, including home loans.
