One of the three generators at the Norochcholai Coal Plant will be shut down from tomorrow.
The Electricity Board says that it is for the management of coal stocks and planned maintenance activities.
It is planned to cover the lost electricity through other sources.
The Sri Lanka Electricity Board was further told that due to this measure, there will be no change in the current duration of the power cut.
