China’s high-tech research and observation ship ‘Yuan Wang 5’, which has received the most attention in the world, has now docked at Hambantota port.
Sources at Hambantota Port revealed that this ship has been anchored at Hambantota Port for a week and a special program is in place for its security.
The information also stated that the ship had arrived at Hambantota to receive services.
India had expressed its concern regarding the arrival of this ship in Sri Lanka and America had also expressed its disapproval in various ways.
Equipped with satellite and intercontinental ballistic missile tracking and support technology, the Yuan Wang-class ship represents the third generation of that technology.
