Colombo Chief Magistrate Nandana Amarasinghe today ordered the release of Dhanis Ali, who was in remand for the charge of breaking into the premises of the Sri Lanka Television Corporation last July 09, on a cash bail of Rs. 25,000 and two personal sureties of Rs. 500,000 each.
Under the Public Property Act, it was decided that there were not enough facts to remand him and the bail was set.
