The Electricity Consumers Association requests the Inland Revenue Department to inspect the assets of the members of the Electrical Engineers Association.
The General Secretary of the association Mr. Dhammika said that the association had not allowed the implementation of the Renewable Generation Plan since 2016.
Accordingly, the government policy of providing 70% of the national electricity through renewable sources by the year 2030 requirement cannot be implemented, he said.
