Veteran singer Victor Wijayantha has passed away in Canada.
He is the husband of veteran singer Maya Damayanthi Perera and the father of dancer and actress Sachini Nirasha and popular singer Kushani Sandarekha.
Mr. Wijayantha was 77 years old at the time of his death.
He has sung many popular songs like ‘Ho Kauda Me’, ‘Pempata Dedunna’, ‘Me Mal Pokure Oba Suwandayi’, ‘Sande Aloka Dharawa Mama We’, ‘Sanda Mangala Naukawe’, ‘Kurullo Piyamba Awidin’.
Victor Wijayantha is a popular singer who has sung for many popular movie songs produced in the 90s.
The last rites of Mr. Wijayantha will be performed at Otowa, Canada.
