Attorney-at-Law, Minister of Finance Ali Sabri pointed out in the parliament today that the full extent of the economic crisis facing the country is not yet fully understood by the 225 people in Parliament or the people of the country and that the country will be completely deprived of essential commodities which are currently limited to deficits.
The Minister emphasized that the overall economic crisis facing Sri Lanka is such a serious and profound one.
The Minister of Finance stated this in a special statement.
The Minister of Finance stated that the current situation in the country should be managed immediately and that everyone has a national responsibility to get rid of this menace.
The Minister said that the only issues that have been hotly debated and criticized in Parliament and in the society as a whole are the shortage of gas, medicines and the fuel that have arisen in the country.
