The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges all Sri Lankans in Ukraine to remain vigilant in the current situation in Ukraine and to contact the Sri Lankan Embassy in Ankara.
The Government of Sri Lanka also mentions that they are closely monitoring the current situation in Ukraine.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Ankara is working closely with over 40 Sri Lankans, including fourteen students living in Ukraine, to ensure their safety and well-being.
Six of the 14 Sri Lankan students in Ukraine have left the country temporarily, and the Sri Lankan embassy in Ankara maintains close ties with the remaining eight students, the foreign ministry said.
