The State Ministry of Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural and Ayurveda has decided to open 500 herbal outlets islandwide with the aim of creating a healthy population.
A statement issued by the Ministry states that this project is being launched with the aim of introducing herbal porridge to the people instead of milk powder.
Accordingly, the first herbal porridge outlet will be opened near the Seevali Kelanithilaka Sports Ground in Polhena, Kelaniya.
