The Colombo-Katunayake Expressway will be closed for 18 hours from 6.00 am on Sunday (14) due to construction work on the new Kelani Bridge, the Road Development Authority announced.
The section between the Peliyagoda Interchange and the existing Kelani Bridge on the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway (E 01) will be closed from 6.00 am to 12.00 midnight on Sunday, November 14.
The Road Development Authority (RDA) has advised to use the Colombo-Kandy road (A1) and the Colombo-Negombo road (A3) as alternative routes.
