Members of Parliament Athuraliye Rathana Thero, Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara, State Ministers Dayasiri Jayasekara, Duminda Dissanayake, Lasantha Alagiyawanna, Jayantha Samaraweera, Members of Parliament Prof. Tissa Vitarana, Gevidu Kumaratunga, Weerasumana Weerasinghe, General Secretary of the Communist Party had gathered at the former president Maithripala Sirisena’s house.

Sources say that the party leaders have decided to meet the Prime Minister to discuss the matter as President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is out of the country to address the UN General Assembly. Political sources said that the discussion with the Prime Minister is likely to take place tomorrow.
