The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has donated 300,000 doses of Sinopharm Covid vaccines for the benefit of the Sri Lanka Army.
The consignment of vaccines is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on Saturday (28), said the Commander of the National Operational Center for the Prevention of the spread of Covid-19, General Shavendra Silva.
The Army Commander said that the stock of vaccines was received by the Sri Lanka Army for the purpose of developing goodwill between China and Sri Lanka.
