Secretary General of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and Minister of State Dayasiri Jayasekara says that his party has not yet decided to leave the government and still trusts the President and the Prime Minister.
He points out that his party members are still waiting to discuss and resolve the issue.
He said that the ministers and parliamentarians of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will meet President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa on the 21st to discuss the matter.
This was stated by the Minister of State at a media briefing held in Kurunegala.
“No such decision has been taken (as the SLFP). We still have faith in the Prime Minister and the President. We hope to discuss with them and resolve this issue. We hope to have a discussion with the President on the 21st. We will see the results and how we will continue our work. ”
