A 20-year-old man who is a resident of Maradana Maligakanda Road has been handed over to the police.
During the questioning of the young man by the police, information has been revealed about the person who gave him the note.
Accordingly, the police have arrested a 24-year-old resident of the Maligawatta housing complex. 03 counterfeit 1000 rupee notes were found in his possession.
