The Department of Examinations announces that the candidates who have not received the application forms to appear for the GCE A/L examination starting tomorrow (04) can download the application forms by visiting their department’s official website.
This year 346976 candidates are going to appear for the A/L examination.
281445 of them are school applicants, and 65,531 are private applicants.
This year, 2258 exam centers have been established across the island.
Meanwhile, the examination department has taken steps to revise the examination center of Kekirawa Madatugama Revatha Vidyalaya due to the heavy rains and floods.
Steps have been taken to establish a new examination center at Galkiriagama Madhya Maha Vidyalaya for the candidates who were to appear for the examination at the previously mentioned examination center.
Meanwhile, Korean language has been introduced as a subject for the first time for the A/L exam this year.
