Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Gopal Bagle said that he has proposed to build an organic fertilizer center in Sri Lanka with the full support of India.
The Indian High Commissioner said that the proposal was made in support of Sri Lanka’s efforts to focus on organic fertilizer agriculture.
He was speaking at an online discussion held between Sri Lanka and India to share experiences in organic farming.
Indian High Commissioner Gopal Bagle, Minister of State for Skills Development, Vocational Education, Research and Innovation Dr. Sita Arambepola and State Minister of Agriculture Shashindra Rajapaksa also addressed the gathering.
Mr. Gopal Bagley also expressed his willingness to contribute to the organization of training tours between Sri Lanka and to provide the required technical knowledge and expertise.
