A young man was cut to death by three persons who broke into a house located on the third floor of the Sirisara Uyana housing complex in Borella Vanathamulla this afternoon and fled.
A 28-year-old man named Thambiraza Pradeep Kumar was killed.
He, who sustained serious cuts was taken to the Colombo National Hospital by the residents of the housing complex. The police say that he was already dead when taken to the hospital.
