A police inspector assigned to the security of the President’s House in Nuwara Eliya was arrested last night by the Nuwara Eliya Police while he was drunk and misbehaving.
This police inspector attached to Keerthibandarapura police station was called to Nuwara Eliya for special duties.
This police inspector was arrested while wearing his official uniform.
The Inspector General of Police is also staying in Nuwara Eliya these days.
