300 bundles of photocopy paper were stolen from the Western Provincial Ministry of Agriculture.
300 bundles containing 500 papers each have been stolen.
The Western Province Agriculture Ministry office is located in the Western Province Chief Minister Building Complex in Battaramulla.
The Accountant of the Ministry who came yesterday (16) has complained about this theft to the Talangama Police. It is not yet known who committed the theft. Thalangama police say that investigations are going on.
According to the complaint made by the accountant, it appears that the theft took place on a day after April 31, a senior police officer said.
Very strange, as April had ONLY 30 days. Typo????
