Sri Lanka today received a donation of kits from the Australian Government to provide essential protection to first-class workers working against the Covid epidemic.
The Government of Sri Lanka today was handed over 9,800,000 face masks and 3,200 body masks.
The consignment arrived at the Mattala International Airport today.
The Australian authorities commended the Mattala Airport for making it easier to deliver supplies in response to the Covid epidemic.
The total value of Australia’s supplies to Sri Lanka in response to COVID-19 is AUD 11.7 million (LKR 1,800 million).
