After five days of Kumbal Perahara during the Kanda Udarata Esala Perahara Festival, the first Randoli Perahera street tour will begin today (07) at 7.44 pm at the auspicious moment.
The route of the first randoli procession is starting from Sri Dalada Street, turn at D. S. Senanayake Street and come up Temple Road to Deva Street, going to Sir Bennet Soyza Street and E. L. Senanayake Street, going to D. S. Senanayake street through cross street and ending the first Randoli Perahera going up the Raja Street.
Concluding the Kumbal Perahara on the fifth Kumbal Perahara day, accompanied by various traditional dance elements and duty officials, accompanied by the Tuskers Burumaraja and Miyanraja on both sides, the tusker Indiraja Mangala in the middle carried the Perahara casket.
