Piyal Nishantha and Lohan Ratwatte will continue in their previous ministry portfolios, the Presidential Media Unit said in a statement.
It has been informed that in addition to the State Ministers appointed by the President as per the Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. 2276/64 dated 22.04.2022, these State Ministers will also continue to function in their positions.
Accordingly, Lohan Ratwatte the State Minister of Gem and Jewelery Industries and Piyal Nishantha de Silva the State Minister of Women and Child Development, Pre-School and Primary Education, School Infrastructure and Education Services will continue to hold office.
