Gemunu Wijeratne, President of the All Ceylon Private Bus Owners’ Association says that the lack of proper regulation of passenger capacity in public transport is problematic.
He says it is therefore impractical to make the vaccination card mandatory for public transportation without proper regulation.
However, the President of the All Ceylon Private Bus Owners’ Association further stated that he is ready to act accordingly if the vaccination card is made mandatory for public transport.
