Samagi Jana Balavegaya MP Harshana Rajakaruna has been diagnosed with Covid infection.
In recent days, it has been reported from time to time that a lot of
members of parliament, as well as staff, have been infected with covid.
Currently, the Covid situation in the country has escalated again. Accordingly, the number of Covid deaths and infections reported daily in the country is increasing rapidly.
The health sector emphasizes that booster dosage is essential to control the current condition and to save lives.
Director-General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena today also appealed to the public to take the booster dose as soon as possible without being deceived by false statements.
He added that symptoms such as aches in hand were common after receiving the vaccine.
