    PM returns from Italy

    Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and his delegation who were on an official visit to Italy to attend the G20 Interfaith Conference, returned to the island this morning, the Katunayake Airport Duty Manager said according to a news report in Daily Mirror.

    The Prime Minister and the rest of the delegation arrived at the Katunayake Airport at 12.01 midnight in a Sri Lankan Airlines from Singapore.

    External Affairs Ministry Secretary, Admiral Prof. Jayanath Colombage and a group of people had returned to Sri Lanka after completing their visit to Italy on an earlier date.
