Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition and head of the Samagi Janabalawega (SJB) party, has stated that the National People’s Power (NPP) party appears to be hesitant about participating in the Economic Committee debate. However, SJB is fully prepared to engage in both debates as a united front.
For that, the opposition leader said that he would request that the dates for both these debates be prepared in May itself and not to be a leader who brags about only one.
Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the opposition leader, said that SJB has a group that has a truthful and realistic data-centered economic vision and plans to build the country, while the bragging-only leader has a bragging group. SJB has a group that does what it says it will do, so both these debates should be held in May in addition to doing work for the country. He also challenged the NPP to the debate.
Mr. Sajith Premadasa, the leader of the opposition, said this during the 170th phase of the Sakwala smart classrooms program, where a smart classroom worth 10 lakh rupees was given to Aligarh National School, Mirigama, Gampaha today.
