The Presidential Media Division states that a meeting between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the United States Ambassador Mrs. Julie Chang was held at the Presidential Office this morning (01).
Mrs. Julie Chang offered her warm greetings to Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake who became the new President of Sri Lanka and discussed the continued development of strong bilateral relations between the United States of America and Sri Lanka.
Special attention was paid to the strengthening of diplomatic relations between the United States of America and Sri Lanka, as well as economic and social cooperation, and areas of mutual interest to both countries.
Start believing our new President. Let us give him time and space to settle down. A new beginning is in the horizon and let us be patient so that he can implement his promises in peace meal .
