The Election Commission has made a written inquiry to the Attorney General’s Department to clarify which faction of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party they should deal with.
The Commission has stated that this inquiry was made considering the current split of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party into several factions.
According to the decision received from the Attorney General’s Department, the Election Commission has stated that it will work with the relevant factions in the future.
