Namal Rajapaksa said that Basil Rajapakse appeared unconditionally for SM Chandrasena and that as a result of the fight to give him the positions he desired, Ranil Wickramasinghe and Basil Rajapaksa even started having some ill feelings.
He said this yesterday (03) in Anuradhapura after a party meeting in Pohottuwa while giving information to the media.
On that day, Mr. Basil Rajapaksa appeared unconditionally on behalf of Minister SM. If there was any resentment between Mr. Basil Rajapaksa and Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe, one of the reasons for it was this fight.
Our hearts and minds are pure… we did our best. But the decision they make today is their decision. Namal Rajapaksa said.
Namal Rajapaksa said that the door of the party is open to anyone who comes back and they can come and go to the party through the door which Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa put in place.
Namal Rajapaksa said that, even if Namal Rajapaksa left Hambantota, there is a second line to win Hambantota. Anuradhapura is the same. If the first line left, there is an eagerly waiting second line to take responsibility and win for the party. The mechanism of the party is very strong.
