The Railway Station Master’s Association warns that if their professional problems are not resolved, they will have to take professional action again from tomorrow (23).
Mr. Sumedha Navaratne, the president of the union, said that he submitted 13 demands to the concerned minister, including the promotion and recruitment of 922 station masters.
Mr. Sumedha Navaratne stated that the minister promised to provide solutions to 6 demands and that solutions are expected according to the cabinet paper presented today.
