Government Press Officer, Mrs. Ganga Kalpani Liyanage said a maximum of 600 to 800 million rupees will be spent for the printing purposes of the presidential election.
She said that she informed the Election Commission about it.
However, she stated that the amount may decrease depending on the size of the ballot paper.
She mentioned that after the announcement of the presidential election, the papers related to it will be available for printing and the census papers to be used by government officials have already been printed.
