It is stated that Surendra Wasantha Perera aka Karoke Wasantha was killed on Athugiriya Oruwala road by a group of people who came from a car using two T56 guns.
Sources revealed that 06 people, including singer K Sujeeva, have been injured.
Wasantha was also a person with strong political connections.
