The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Services says that it has invited interest from local and foreign investors to lease the renovated Jaffna International Airport to the private sector.
Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva mentioned that after selecting a suitable investor, the next steps will be taken.
Meanwhile, the Minister also said that the proposal to transfer the operations of Mattala Airport to two Indian and Russian companies has been forwarded to the Finance Ministry.
