Lanka Sathosa says that an imported egg can be obtained at all Sathosa branches on the island for Rs. 36 from today (02).
In addition to imported eggs, the prices of several essential items such as big onions, red onions, peas, potatoes, LSL milk powder, wheat flour, white raw rice, and soy meat have also been reduced.
With the aim of providing relief to consumers during the coming Sinhala Tamil New Year, the opportunity has been given to buy a bag of items containing 11 food items worth Rs 4,500 at a retail price of Rs. 3,420.
