Electricity and Energy Minister Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera has announced that fuel prices will be reduced from midnight today (29).
Accordingly, the prices are reduced from an amount of,
Rs.60 per liter for Petrol 92,
Rs.135 per liter for Petrol 95,
Rs.80 per liter for Auto Diesel,
Rs.45 per liter for Super Diesel,
Rs.10 per liter for Kerosene.
Accordingly, as the new prices of fuel,
Octane 92 petrol is Rs. 340 per liter
Octane 95 petrol is Rs. 375 per liter
Lanka Auto Diesel is Rs. 325 per liter
Lanka Super Diesel is Rs. 465 per liter
Kerosene is Rs. 295 per liter.
Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera, the Minister of Power and Energy, stated this while attending a press conference held today (29) at the Ministry of Power and Energy.
Meanwhile, in parallel with this step, the company states that Lanka IOC fuel price will be reduced with effect from midnight today (29).
This is trying to fool the people, its all election pre plans, and once its over the prices will increase by three fold.
No faith in this govt. Give a permanant relief to the people in all areas. Especially the electricity and water.
