The Ceylon Electricity Board has decided to reduce the power cut this weekend.
Electricity and Energy Minister Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera said that CEB has taken this step due to the increase in hydropower generation and low energy demand.
The Minister also mentioned that if the rains continue in the catchment areas, the Electricity Board will keep the power cuts to a minimum.
