While participating in a case held at the Gampaha court, Pas Podda, who was shot and hospitalized near the court, died.
Along with him, four injured people were admitted to Gampaha General Hospital. All four were receiving treatment in the intensive care unit. Meanwhile, Pas Podda who was in critical condition died during the night.
