B-Love Kandy won the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Championship-2023.
The B. Love Kandy team thus succeeded in breaking the record of the Jaffna Kings team in the history of LPL matches by winning consecutively in the last three years.
Due to the disability of captain Wanindu Hasaranga, he was rested and replaced by Angelo Mathews, who competed in the finals and won the LPL title.
The Dambulla Aura team, who batted first in the match held last night (20th) at the R. Premadasa ground in Colombo, scored 147 runs for 4 wickets at the end of the 20 overs.

Dinesh Chandimal scored 24 runs, and Angelo Mathews scored 25 not out to lead the Kandy team to victory.
Wanindu Hasaranga won the Man of the LPL tournament this year, and Angelo Mathews won the Man of the Match award.
Accordingly, the Dambulla Aura team led by Kusal Mendis had to settle for the runner-up in the LPL 2023 tournament.
