On the initiative by Sri Lankan Ambassador to Japan, Sanjiwa Gunasekera two leading Japanese companies donated a consignment of 100,000 surgical masks to Sri Lanka. These surgical masks were handed over to the Ambassador by Mr. Agekawa, Chairman of Devant and Mr. Goto Chief Executive Officer of A Holdings.
The consignment of surgical masks will be dispatched to Sri Lanka by Sri Lankan Airlines flight scheduled to arrive in Colombo on Saturday. The surgical masks will be handed over to the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and State Minister of Digital Technology and Entrepreneur Development, Namal Rajapaksa.
