Eleven third-year students of the Faculty of Technology at Sabaragamuwa University have been suspended from attending classes in connection with a ragging incident involving a second-year student who attempted suicide by hanging.

The suspension was enforced tonight. Among the suspended students are four who were arrested yesterday by the Criminal Investigation Department and another four who surrendered to the police today.
