Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has given a three-hour statement today (28th) to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
The statement was related to the withdrawal of fixed deposits from the National Savings Bank during the period when MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake was serving as the Chief Minister of the Uva Provincial Council.
Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption around 9:15 AM today and left around 12:25 PM.
