Who is the next president? 7 lakh people will cast their postal vote from tomorrow

The activities of marking the postal votes related to the 2024 presidential election will start from tomorrow (04).

The Election Commission stated that the Staff working at District Secretariat Offices, Election Commission Offices, Senior and DIG Offices, Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police Offices, Police Stations, Special Task Force Camps, Special Police Units and Elite Security Division will have the opportunity to mark postal votes.

In addition to tomorrow, an opportunity has been given for marking postal votes on the 6th in the relevant places.

Marking of postal votes will be done on 05th and 06th for the staff in Tri-Forces army bases and all other government institutions.

However, the Electoral Commission stated that postal voters who are unable to mark their postal votes on the relevant days have been given the opportunity to mark their postal votes on the 11th and 12th of September at the district election offices in the district where their place of work is located.

712,319 postal voters have qualified for this presidential election.
