The Election Commission is scheduled to meet today (28) to discuss the proposed local government elections.
Chairman of the Election Commission Mr. R.M.A.L Ratnayake said that he hopes to discuss the decision given by the Supreme Court.
After that, a final decision will be taken regarding the local government elections, he said.
