President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that he has no challenge with the candidates running for the upcoming presidential election.
He said this in response to a question raised to the President asking about the candidates Sajith Premadasa, Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Namal Rajapakse as strong rivals of Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe.
“No, I have no challenge. I will assure you about your future, and they will assure you about their future. You have to decide who to give your vote,” said the President.
The President pointed out that he did not come for a fight and that he has put his future vision in front of the people and has proven it in action.
He said that the other candidates have not proven that they can work and only give promises and words to the people.
The President said this while addressing the press conference held with the theme of ‘Puluwan Sri Lanka’.
