In comparison with the last presidential election, the printing expenses of this year’s presidential election may increase by three times, the government’s printing department says.
The printing machines owned by the Government Printing Office can print ballot papers with a maximum size of 26 inches.
Names of only 36 candidates can be mentioned in it.
The department says that if the number of candidates competing in the presidential election this year increases to 36, the printing costs may increase due to the increase in the length of the ballot paper.
The increase in the cost of raw materials and the increase in the number of ballot papers printed have also contributed to the increase in expenses.
