The Election Commission says that in the upcoming presidential election, voters will be able to vote at a polling station other than their designated one.
In a gazette announcement, the commission emphasized that eligible voters can request to go to an alternative polling station and vote if they have a reasonable reason for not being able to vote at their designated place.
Applicants applying for this should send the forms to the Election Commission on or before the 1st of next month.
Each application must be certified by the village officials of the applicant’s residential area, otherwise, the applications will be invalid, the Election Commission said.
