The Sri Lanka Postal Department says that a special service for the distribution of postal items will be implemented throughout the island during the long weekend holidays of Sinhala, Tamil New Years and Ramadan.
On April 12, post/sub-post offices across the island with distribution available will implement a special service of Cash-on-Delivery, Foreign Courier Service, and General Parcel Distribution, even though it is a public holiday.
Issuing an announcement, Postmaster General Mr. S.R. W. M. R. P. Sathkumara said this.
