In the last two and a half months of this year, the total number of foreign tourists who have come to this country has increased to 537,887.
According to the latest statistics of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, 111,284 foreign tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka during the period from the 1st to the 17th of this month.
The majority of the tourists who arrived in the month of March are Indian and Russian tourists, and numerically, the values are 16,830 and 16,548 respectively.
In addition, 10,546 from Germany, 8,926 from the United Kingdom, 7,018 from France and 6,892 from China have mostly come to Sri Lanka during this period.
