Seven students of the Sabaragamuwa University were arrested yesterday evening by the officers of the Samanalawewa Police.
The arrest was made following a complaint regarding an assault on two male students and a female student studying in the same university, in the cafeteria.
The arrested students were Residents of Kotte, Eheliyagoda, Bulathsinha, Ratnapura, Kurunegala, Kegalle, and Matale.
These 07 students are going to be produced in the Balangoda Magistrate’s Court today.
