According to the Auditor General’s Department, there are vacancies in about 400 audit officer posts.
Auditor General WPS Wickramaratne stated that due to this, audit services have to be performed with maximum management.
He also stated that the recruitment of suitable candidates for the positions of audit officers will be carried out immediately.
Accordingly, applications are to be invited from qualified graduates currently in government service.
He also said that the gazette notification will be issued soon.
